In addition to the rulebook, we have added two more products to the Store - the FCC Housemember and Modpack. These figures will fill out the FCC squad with some great customizable options. Check them out!

MERCS has come back from GEN CON more crazy than ever.

As you know we launch USCR and FCC just before the con. We also have the four MegaCon game decks available. We had a lot of people playing the game, and 90% of those that played it bought it.

We picked up e-Figures and most likely ACD for more distribution. In the coming weeks we will add the long in development game tab, and slowly reveal the new design of the site. We think it rocks and we are pretty sure you will as well.

We also plan on doing some contests with the community for prizes. More to come, but I can tell you the first contest will be community created scenarios.

We will also try to update this more. :)

MERCS is proud to announce that Warpath has agreed to distribute MERCS miniatures.

They have a network of over 300 retail shops, and have partnerships with distributors in Germany and Australia.

Needless to say, this is huge for us, so visit your local gaming store, tell them they need to deal with Warpath, and then tell them to order some MERCS. You can find more information about Warpath in the forums.

We're excited to let you all know that the MERCS Heavy Assault mini received runner-up for "Best Sci-fi Miniature" on Tabletop Gaming News's 2008 Editors Choice Awards! We're very honored to have been nominated by the staff at TGN, and their awards jury who also voted, as one of the best minis of last year. You can check out the results HERE. Very cool!

You may also notice that there is a new button in the main navigation bar. The TIMELINE section covers key moments in history that shaped the MERCS world. The entries will eventually lead you up to the world's present day time. Currently there are entries from the years 2121 to 2168. Check it out!

MERCS Minis is pleased to announce our COMMUNITY FORUMS are officially open! Thanks to all that have already signed up and begun posting. We hope everyone that visits the site will take time to check it out and contribute to the growing MERCS community. There are several threads already going and you can see the first work in progress pics of the third MERCS figure, the YELLOW JACKETS ASSAULT TROOPER.

We've also posted pictures of our current MERCS miniatures painted by the extremely talented ÁNGEL GIRÁLDEZ. He has done a great job so look forward to seeing more of his work on future MERCS releases.

It's been a month since GenCon and things are finally settling down. The show was a blast and we'd like to say thanks to everyone that stopped by to see us or bought figures at the Fantization booth.

We'd also like to let you know about a few other things we have in the pipeline. First we've started implementing a forum system so everyone can have a central place to discuss MERCS. The forum should be up by the end of the month so be sure to sign up and start posting. We're also hard at work finishing the the final three figures that will wrap up the Yellow Jackets squad. We'll start releasing concept art previews of these new figures in the near future and will continue with updates showing the sculpts themselves. In the mean time be sure to check out the GALLERY.

That's it for now, but rest assured we're hard at work making sure MERCS Miniatures will continue to bring you great minis!

MERCS Miniatures at GenCon

Just wanted to let everyone know that Keith and I will both be at GenCon this year. If you'd like to say hi we'll be wearing our MERCS shirts on Saturday (along with some friends), so keep an eye out.

I will be bouncing between the Reaper and Fantization booths most of the show so be sure and stop by or come to the Sculptor's Meeting on Friday night.

First off we'd like to thank everyone for all their responses on the first MERCS Miniatures releases and especially those that have supported us by purchasing the SNIPER and HEAVY ASSAULT.

One of the most frequent comments on the various boards has been a request for comparison pictures of the MERCS next to other figures. Well you spoke and we've answered.
